What is a Portfolio Slam?
A portfolio slam is an evening event where designers meet frogs, to discuss their work. You will have a 10-15 minute assigned session to connect with a couple of frogs to show off, discuss, and receive constructive criticism on their portfolio of creative work. Before and after a Portfolio Slam session, everyone is welcome to mingle and network. Refreshments and snacks will be provided!
Although an internship or a job at frog (or an offer to interview for a job) can sometimes result from the Portfolio Slam, the intention is to network and to provide and receive constructive criticism for the presentation of creative work.
Who should apply?
If you are a Designer from any specialty with a creative portfolio of work, please submit your application for consideration!
Who will be selected?
Only 30 candidates in total will be selected.You must be able to come to our Brooklyn studio for the entire duration to attend the Portfolio Slam.
When can you apply?
The application period will be open from January 18, 2019 to March 1, 2019. Applications will be closed at 5:00 PM EST on March 1, 2019. Time is limited, so apply ASAP.

Thursday March 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 8:15 PM EST
Where will the Portfolio Slam take place?
At our Brooklyn studio in DUMBO. When will you find out if you're selected? Our Talent Acquisition and Creative teams will be reviewing portfolios and resumes through March 1, 2019. We will notify candidates at any time before or on March 1, 2019. We will also notify candidates who are not being selected as we review applicants throughout the months of January and February.We intend to get back to everyone in a timely manner but if you don't hear from us by March 1, 2019, you have not been selected to participate in this round. However, here at frog, there is never a closed door – please feel free to apply again next time!
